Dear Darren Gough,

Good day!

Hope my post finds you well in good health!

This is in reply to your comment England can beat India "every day of week": Gough

Thanks to the Indian British empire, firstly for teaching us English and secondly for bringing their national game Cricket to India.

As mentioned by The Times of India in the news column, it did raise the hackles. At least in me, and i have been waiting for this moment from the day it was posted on Dec 30th 2010.

I have to say you predicted right when you said 'Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men are champions only at home'. Now, they have become world champions at their home. Earlier, Kapil dev's men were titled world champions at your home. Our men are titled world champions TWICE in the game that British empire brought to us.

You are also right when you said that, "England were the best team in the world at the moment ". Yes, they were at that moment. They were a good team. You were also right to say "India's performance in South Africa have nothing much to write about." and we too don't want to read much about that.

Indian team lead by Bhuvan has beaten the British team long before India got independence. Such are the capabilities of the Indian team. Don't believe me. Then watch the movie Lagaan. Just kidding! That was just for fun.

Now, in reality, it must still be a fantasy for England side to beat us every day of the week.

After the series in South Africa, week after week, we have become strong enough to equal the England team. It is evident when the
India Vs England match was a draw in this world cup. Weeks passed by. We grew more stronger to become the worlds champions proving that 3 lions are not enough to dominate the world cricket when we have got 15 lions. The rest is history.

BTW, i thought i will let you know that our national game is Hockey and our religion is Cricket.

Best wishes for the next world cup!
